Cat food

My grandmother's housecat who lives on a diet of rice and raw fish everyday ignored the cat food that I bought for him in the city. It was really strange because I thought every feline loves this particular brand of cat food. Do cats have different taste like us humans?

My cat doesn't like fish in the cat tins but will eat human consumption tuna in springwater, cate are fussy sometimes.
