Do you think it was too soon for Ophrah to put those boys on tv?

I find it hard to believe that Ophrah already had those 2 boys that were abducted on her show!
How could they have had the time to collect there thoughts and feelings? For the one boys' family to begin to deal with all that happened?
I think it was just way to soon to be put out there on such a public format without having time to deal with this on a personal issue.
What does everybody else think?

I hadn't heard anything about this? Guess I'm living in a hole.
Anyway, I always question why someone would put their child thru being on a show like that after something that horrible happened to them. They're liable to have nightmares as it is, must we keep hammering at it? A scab won't heal if you keep picking it open! Gross, but true! Leave the poor kids alone and let them deal with it in private.

I guess that is the way life is these days, fast, I think they should be given time but I guess that is not the way the media thinks, they want in with the big scoop I just hope the boys will be paid well and then maybe they can get on with their lives.

I really don't know. I have been following this story and it is abousetly amazing that they were both found. In the back of my mind, I was thinking that it was a little bit too soon, but I do think that it was good. Seeing the older boy and both the families gives a little bit of hope. Not only hope that missing children can come home, but hope that will be loved and supported by their family, as well as by those that they don't even know, no matter what happened to them.

I didn't get to see the episode. My DVR chose that day to take a vacation.
But, I do have to say I was very surprised to hear they were on the show.
I think Oprah's motivation is always that there might be someone in the audience who is helped by her topics but I really think those boys need time to heal right now.

I think they should of been left alone for awhile. They need time to calm down and be with their families.. I think if I was the parent.. I would of said NO WAY OPRAH!!

I thought it was too soon as well. Maybe the younger one it was okay because he wasn't gone all that long and maybe nothing "bad" happened to him. But the older one who was missing five years must have an awful lot to digest and being shoved in the spotlight that soon seems incredibly selfish by both Oprah and his parents.
