Has anyone ever made or tried Lemon Crisp cookies. I love these cookies very much. My mom makes really good lemon crisp cookies. If you have not had these you should. Here is the recipe for these delicious cookies: Preheat oven to 350F. In a medium bowl, cream together 1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter and full pouch lemon filling mix. Add 2 eggs and stir until blended. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 2 cups all purpose flour and full pouch of complete crust. Stir until blended, hand kneading as necessary. Using heaping tablespoon dough for each cookie, form into balls and roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 14-16 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Makes 40, 3 inch cookies.

I am definitely not a cook as the recipes that I have included here are foods that my family or friends have made that I really enjoyed and wanted to share with everyone. I have made these cookies once with some help by my mom and these are great tasting cookies.

hi thanks for the great recipe i have one more recipe for you hope you like it Lemon Crisp Cookies I received this cookie in a cookie swap this year. These were my favorites of the bunch! I haven't tried these yet, but I think that I will refrigerate the dough and make them into balls. Just to get a more "perfect" looking cookie. 1/2 cup softened butter 3/4 cup sugar 1 large egg 1 tablespoon lemon zest, finely grated 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 3/4 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/4 cups flour colored crystal sugar, for decorating Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg, lemon zest, juice, vanilla and beat again. In Separate bowl, Sift together Baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour. Add dry ingredients to wet in two batches, until just blended. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute then move to a cooling rack

Thanks for the recipe, I might be tempted to cook these someday though I won't eat them myself. I don't like lemon crisped cookies but most of my relatives do, so that's the reason why I feel tempted to cook them. I personally prefer cookies filled with either chocolate or other cream.

I too love chocolate filled or creamed filled cookies. Those are good as well but me and my friends and family love the lemon crisp cookies. I am sure your relatives would love to taste your homemade lemon crisp cookies.
