With so many news of heinous crimes being committed lately, jails are already cramped with convicted criminals. Arguments between those supporting the implementation of capital punishment to curb crimes and pro-life activists remain unresolved until now. Both camps has presented their own opinions on the matter with one side claiming that severity of the crimes being committed nowadays should only be properly address to and must be compensated with the stricter measures to sow fear among criminals and possible law offenders. An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth approach they say, is the most sure way to stop crime to fluorish. On the other hand, the other side argued that death penalty does not constitute crime prevention and cited figures to justify their stand. According to them, crime continue to rise despite its implementation years ago an thereby must be totally abolish.
