Who here has registered with various sites or at least given a name and address in order to receive something free being offered online? There are so many food, health, and other random products that companies are willing to let you sample, free of charge. The only catch is that the items will take a minimum of 4 weeks, but usually more like 6-8 to arrive. But if it's something you wouldn't have been buying anyway, or really don't need right away, it's not a problem. What do you all think of these free offers?

I used to sign up for every free offer I could find. I used to love the feeling of getting something in the mail 2-3-4 times a week. But after awhile I got bored of signing up for those offers, and I really haven't even looked for any in the last few years. I wonder sometimes if I could find something that I could really use that way, but with spending so much time here on Mylot and doing my other online work and things I really don't have the time. But they can be a really fun way to get more mail delivered to your house and get some nice free things, that's for sure! ^_^

I have a feeling I'll just end up doing this every once in a while. I spent some time over a two-three day period finding all sorts of free things that I might want, and signed up for them. At the moment, unless more interesting things have been posted in the last couple days, I'm content to wait for things to begin arriving.
