Did you know that if you trade in a vehicle that you originally purchased an extended warranty on, you can receive a refund of any of the unused portion. When you buy your new vehicle, the dealer will give you an official odometer reading. Take this paperwork to the original dealer where you bought the first car along with the warranty paperwork and request a refund. Of course you still have to be within the limits of the warranty at the time you sold the vehicle (mileage/age). You will receive a prorated refund based upon the mileage and the price of the actual warranty package that you purchased.
