Mom referred to a cardiologist

I'm a little sad today because my mom was referred to a cardiologist. While it really is a good thing, its just hard to accept that they may find something wrong with her. Heart disease runs in our family, especially her father, and they want to run an echocardiogram and have her wear a halter monitor. Please think good thoughts :)

Know the problem of having it in the family. For what it's worth, this beats the alternative, by far.
Also remember that a lot can be done, these days. It's not fun, it's not easy to come to terms with, but it really is the best option.
