i only use wet rags and then water mixed with powdered laundry soap. i'm careful not to drop water at the back of the monitor. i don't use any special cleaning liquids because it tends to make monitor yellowish especially white monitors.

you are talking about the monitor of desktop. in this case the liquid you used like plain water with laundry soap is fine. but what about the monitor of laptop. i use the laptop cleaning kit. you have one moist cloth, which is very good to clean your monitor.

i use soft clothes, water and soap, it makes my monitor clean. sometimes i add a little chlorine, just make sure that the water does not go inside your monitor.

I use soft cotton to clean the monitor. Earlier I used to use any available cloth with water, but then I learned that thats not a way to clean monitor. Soft cotton serves well. Now that I have a flat screen, it soft cotton is very useful. Thanks!

Just whatever cleaning wipes are around, like Clorox or 409.
