I think it's a discussion with a catchy title that makes people want to respond Or want to know more.Once they reach the body ,it shouldn't be too long.Otherwise,people might lose interest.It's best to keep it as close to the title as possible to keep them interested.And the most important of all ,I think , is exposure of your discussion. If you have many friends ,then you are almost confirmed many responses.

good discussions for me are those discussions that are relevant in todays world, those that would generate much of informative, useful responses.

I think a good discussion is one which people have a lot to say about, and that is not a simple question. I think that it will invite more people to post, and it will continue.

Good discussions means the discussions that are attracted and it pulls all users to respond for it.. there is no secrets and criteria behind this...
