My fiancée is in the market to purchase a semiautomatic pistol for personal defense including concealed carry. I own a .357 Taurus revolver, esentially a copy of a S&W J-Frame, and she shoots it comfortably with .38s but doesn't like the kick, boom, or flash of the .357s. She does, however, like the idea of shooting rounds with so much stopping power, and would rather have a semi than a revolver Can anyone recommend a low-priced, concealable .357 pistol with less recoil or flash? Any tips on buying used guns?
