A herbal cure for Aids discovered!

There is a proliferation of herbal medicines here in the Philippines and some are claiming that they are effective against Aids. Could it be possible knowing that science has spent millions of dollars in research and are still far from finding a cure. Then an unknown herbalist will just claim he discovered it. I look at this as a hoax.Do you agree? Why?

I dont agree with people who are claiming that they have the cure for aids. but i hoe what they claims is true well the government should at least check it out to know if that's true or not that way people will not be mislead by false hopes and claims such as those.
