Goldfish!

Hey myLotters! Do any of you own goldfish? I don't mean the little feeder goldfish that you can get for $1 per half dozen. I'm talking about the fancy kind, whether they have googly eyes, "brains", or just pretty fins and tails. I have two small fancy goldfish name Rum(bulion) and Tequila. Rum is a calico and seems to have a swim bladder problem; that, or he is top heavy (he spends most of his time floating head-down!). He also has a malformed tail, so when he wants to go somewhere, he generally does so by pirouetting through the water. Quila is smaller and all golden, though he used to have a little black saddle. They share their tank with three snails and a nice healthy plant that Rum likes to nest in. I recently switched them to a vegetable diet after learning that flakes aren't really that good for them. They love their peas, carrot, corn, and spinach! They like orange and lime, too, and there are many other things I would like to try with them. It's funny how attached you can become to such a small pet, even one that you can't exactly handle. I hope they'll live for many years to come!
