Im a student at the moment and i am studying what i have always wanted to study. The things is, i am now having doubts about carrying on with my studies. Its not that i decided i dont want to become an Architect anymore, its just what we study here is nothing like what we are going to be doing once we are qualified and it just gets me thinking all the time. Is it natural to think about dropping out or is it just me?

Actually, it's natural to feel that way. Actually, research says that the things we study at school are not the ones we need by the time we enter the workforce. So why study then? Unfortunately, we all need that piece of paper to validate our claim that we have studied this and underwent that training and we have to show a proof or evidence and oftentimes it comes with that piece of paper with the name and logo of a university. Most companies if not all rely on the diploma rather than on the actual capability of a person to do the job. Oour society just can't do away with it. Well, I just hope you will get over it soon.
