I was thinking, didnt magic johnson have aids? i thought he did and if he still does, i cant find any info on it. my searches come up inconclusive. if he doesnt have it, howd he rid of it? i personally think the government created it and have a vaccine as well. but the vaccine would be classified and very expensive. so expensive, only people with millions of dollars could get ahold of just enough to cure them. i know johnson & johnson are coming out with a new hiv drug to help control it, but what about a cure?

There is no know cure for this disease at this time and I really don't think there ever will be. HIV(aids) is a very complex disease that is always changing in the body. Just when scientist think they figured out something the disease changes on them. I am not sure about the injection to keep from getting HIV if stuck with a needle but I don't believe that there will ever be a cure for this disease. Even if a cure is found I really don't see the government letting it go because just like Cancer( which I am sure they do have a cure for ) they are making to much money off of people who receive treatment for this.

There is no cure and no effective vaccine. Magic Johnson is infected with HIV. HIV and its treatments will cause your body to debilitate and lose ability. Exercise and Good Eating can help you in your fight against Aids. HIV is not a manageable disease like diabetes. Protect yourself always from HIV and ensure that all who deal with blood and body fluids use protection.

Magic Johnson still is infected. There is no cure for HIV.It seems that HIV isn't very prevalent in the media anymore. If you notice, Cancer seems to be the new "cause". Perhaps that is why you don't hear about him much.

I don't think that there is a cure for HIV, it's very deadly, you can just popspone it from turning to AIDS.

it is that the vaccine for HIV is still to be considered that it is not giving full cure from the virus, it is a preliminary vaccine and it provides imunity from other diseases. this is good for those having illegal relations but for those good ones it would turn bad

I supose the cure for HIV exists as longer time. Dont comes to reality because the Pharmaceutic industry win much more selling the medicaments than the cure.

I found some information on wikipedia, magic johnson does have HIV not AIDS. AIDS is a syndrome and is a result of HIV, HIV is a virus that is an STD. There was one man that was tested for HIV and came out Positive, a couple months later he got tested again and came out negative. They think they gave him or he took something that got it out of his system but i personally beleive that he was tested incorrectly. How can you say that they made HIV? Thats absurd!! HIV originated in africa it started in monkeys, when people used to eat monkeys. they are working on some sort of vaccine but its really difficult because HIV not only attacks your ammune system but destroys it. In your amune system you have lots of little things that keeps you healhy and do lots of things for your body, there is one master one if you like, without this one none of the other ones can function. All colds, flus pnuemonia etc they attack the litle ones and if they can eventually the big one. HIV goes straight for the big one and destroys your wholeammune system. So its quite tought to stop. Hope i helped explain things.x

I believe the last I heard of Magic Johnson he still has HIV in his system but with the help of medication that no one else could afford he is symptom free and healthy. I think he was the big test subject and so the government wouldn't release this to everyone. A lot of illnesses have a vaccine but it takes years and years for them to finish studing them and be able to release it to the public. I know for my illness ebstien barr that a vaccine has been developed in Australia but it is not released yet to the public. At least that is what I read on the internet.

What makes you think he got rid of it? HIV isnt AIDS, its the dormant virus. AIDS is when it activates and destroys your body. As for the governments contribution to this virus, if that's true then the government was experimenting in infecting African monkeys because that is the source and location of HIV. Monkeys transferred it to humans and it spread from there.

From what I hear he went to Africa and somehow they gave him something that makes his HIV not come up in tests anymore. What he did I have no idea, but you do have to consider that he is a very rich man so he can afford any type of treatment that may be available.

As ar as I know you never get rid of the virus. I believe he, like many others, keeps it under control with medication.
