Dumb Law of the Day

Why would someone have a 25ft satellite??? Are they trying to get a picture from the space station??? What happened to those little 2 or 3 foot dishes? And why would someone want something that big??? You have inspired me! I want to start posting dumb laws too now. hehehe But here is one for my state..... Whaling is illegal. Right! Because there are a bunch of whale in Oklahoma!!! I can see the ocean from my back window! Not! Nice try Oklahoma!

That's hilarious! I went to school in a state that wouldn't allow more than 4 unrelated females to live in a residence together because then it was technically a "house of ill repute" if you catch my drift. It was bizarre because that meant that our Greek row had these huge houses to hold meetings and parties, but no one could live in them. While I was there, this one person decided to throw some huge protest by painting his entire house bright purple with yellow polka dots. I don't know what he was trying to accomplish, but it definitely got a bunch of press and attention on the topic. However, in the end I think he voilated some other strange law banning polka dots painted on houses, so he had to repaint the whole thing beige. Can you imagine how many coats of paint that must have taken? Lol! But yeah, the law hasn't changed. And all those gorgeous frat and sorority houses and just big empty places to party!
