How many of us watch Talk Shows?

Yes, talkshows, I know alot of us like them from Jerry Springer, to Maury Povich, Tara Banks, Oprah, Montell there are so many to name. I know some people also think they are silly, serve as no purpose and just wonder why? Some talk shows are interesting than others. I personally like watching Maury Povich and Montell. Do you find yourself watching talk shows? do you enjoy them? What are some of your favorite shows and why?

I ususally watch Dr. Phil and maybe every once in awhile Oprah. I really like Dr. Phil. He gets straight to the point and he's not afraid to get up in your face. Oprah I watch only if something good is on it. Lately she's becoming a little boring.

That's very very true. I have watched him a few times..He seems like a real geniune guy. His discussion are real and sincere he really tries to help....

i like jerry springer,i think his show are mostly funny an stupid i like to see them fight.maury povish his shows are sad an crazy but i watch them i dont care alot about tara shows it has alot of makeovers an montel shows are for real an interesting an i enjoy watching all of them

Yeah Jerry is a hand full...Maury always have the touching stories or the females who always trying to find paternity of their child...It's something else how some women will lie and then be on national tv..It's just simply priceless....

If I'm flipping through the channels and see something interesting on a talk show then I'll stop and watch it. I don't really have a favorite one though cause I don't watch them very often.

I think that some of the shows, at least the ones more along the Jerry Springer mold, are very sensationalist and a lot of it is probably made up and acted out in order to get the show more viewers and more ratings. Some of the stuff that they have on there (when i hear about it.. I've almost never watched more than a few clips) is just simply unbelieveable! *laugh* I really don't have a great interest in the other talk shows that you were referring to, either, although I love chat shows like The View, etc, where they talk more informally and then have guests.

I persoanlly don't watch because I have a little one in front of the tv with me and most of the time the shows are alitle to old for her.I have watched Jerry once but never again. Those people were absolutley crazy.Why go onto national tv to air something like that OMG ...
