Yes my surname now is Mavuri but before marriage it was vutukuri.It is a custom that girls have to change their surname after marriage.I think surname helps us to find people who are related to us.What is your surname?

Of course I have a surname. Who doesn't? I've never heard of anyone not having a surname. Are there countries where people don't have surnames? I had a Canadian surname that I was born with, but I took my mother's Danish birth-name, because I already had other Canadian names (first and middle name) so I wanted a Danish surname.
