Do you keep them or do you throw them out? I have keep every tooth my children have lost I don't know why I do but my mother saved mine also and she still has them. What am I going to do with all these teeth and I still have 1 more child to go. Should I throw them out?

I saved all my children teeth too.I put them all in there own little bottle with there name on it. When they got older and moved out the house,I gave them there tooth bottle, they all told me to throw them away so I did.Its all up to you if you want to save them or not.

Yeah maybe I will ask them if they think they are gonna want them, they are old enough to decide now, they are 16 and 14.

That is a very strange thing.. i have never heard of such a hobby before. I think u should throw them out...no use of keeping it , other than showing it to ur child when he or she grows up..

I have 3 of my son's teeth. The other day my husband found them and asked me how many I was planning on keeping...lol. I told him I didn't know. I'm not sure if it is was really that I was keeping them all or if I just wanted to hide them so he didn't see it in the garbage can in the morning!

I kept my daughter's first tooth not all.But i lost it while shifting my house. I don't think u must keep all the teeth. My daughter used to think that if she keeps that lost tooth under her pillow while sleeping a fairy would come and grant her a wish.It was really funny.

My kids also put thier teeth under thier pillows for the Tooth Fairy, and after they fall asleep I would go in and take it and leave them some change.

I might keep my son's 1st tooth but other than that I think the toothfairy will take them down to the garbage.

My 5 year old grandson had his first loose tooth fall out when he was outside playing. He spit it out of his mouth and just went about his playtime. His mother freaked. She didn't know what to do. LOL. I told her that it was a tooth. I still had hers and her sisters and brothers too. Why? Who knows. In 1000 years will someone dig up our junk and scratch their heads about this odd habit....I believe so.

I had four children. The oldest is 27. I have several of each child's teeth! They still look like they did the day they came out! I need to give them to the two oldest now that I think about it! What is it about we mothers that makes us so sentimental?!

So far my oldest is the only one that's lost teeth. I keep them each in a little sandwhich bag and do the whole tooth fairy thing. I thought about keeping them in a little box and show them to her when she got older but still not sure yet. I have them all hidden in my sock drawer. Hope she doesn't find them! She'd be so heartbroken to find out the tooth fairy wasn't real!

my daughter is only 3 so she's still a little young for this but i can't wait until she loses her first tooth. i can't wait to do the tooth fairy thing and leave money under her pillow. she already talks about it and she pretends that she has a loose tooth all the time.

3 years old thats such a great age, they are so funny and say the cutest things. My youngest will be turning 6 in two weeks and she is just waitng for her teeth to come loose, some of the kids in her kindergarden class have started loosing thiers she asked me what she should do if her tooth falls out at school, shes worried if it will bleed.

This is something I wondered about as well. I have all of my little girls teeth she has lost so far... except for one that seems to have disappeared, ToothFairy must have taken it. I have them in a china teapot I have up on a display case. My mom has all of mine, they are stashed in an old pill bottle. She says they remind her of my childhood. So, I think I will keep mine in the teapot. I plan on keeping it up forever, so I guess the teeth can stay up there forever. I may have to put something in it to keep my younger 2 kids teeth separate. Maybe just put old pill bottles in there and label them with each childs name to keep them safe.

Well, I don't have any of my oldests teeth, but he still has a few more to lose. I threw them all away. My youngest has lost 2 teeth - the first he swallowed and the 2nd is still in the baggie with his quarters from the tooth fairy.

When the kids were younger we kept it for the tooth fairy under their pillows then when the "tooth Fairy" exchanged it we threw it out. My mom did save my first tooth but I never saved my kids.

Wow, and I thought I was the only one who did that. My kids wanted to keep them so we saved them in the little treasure chest from the dentist office. We threw them out as soon as we seen the little chests covered with ants, GROSSSSSSSSS

We wash the tooth. Place it in a shot glass covered by water. Later that night...The Molanator comes and buys the tooth for like $1 sometimes $2. I guess it depends on what kinda change he has.
