I got fired from wal-mart after three years of working there. My two year old had the chicken pox. I worked overnights and couldn't find a babysitter. My ussual babysitter refused to watch her because of these chicken pox. I missed two days of work. When I went back to work I was fired. When I asked why they said because I lied about why I was missing work. I was so pissed off! I brought my chicken pox infected daughter to my bosses office to prove it to him. Then he was pissed because she was contagois(sp?)!

Well, I was fired for a very similar reason. When I was working for Walmart I had started work at a newly built store. When I first started they said I would have three warnings or three chances to improve what I was doing. Well, the first warning I received was because I was running slow of the 3 things they wanted me to do in a 10 minute period. I had to clean the men, women, and family restroom, then sweep the store floors, then I had to bring in all grocery carts off the lot. I was the only person working the floor doing these three different jobs. I was the only person bringing the carts off the parking lot and sweeping the floors. The Asst. Mngr. was always trying to find something wrong with what I did. Mostly because she was very discriminatory about people with mental disabilities. My second Warning was because of a change in my medicine. Which caused me to get real sick and tired and the asst mngr didn't like that. The third warning, was because I was sick on the days off they gave me, an Employee quit working so they decided to pull me in on the days off they gave me four weeks in advance and have me work. Well, I had the full two weeks off, and when I came in the next day the Asst. Mngr. Called me into her office at the near end of my shift and fired me because she said I lied about why I didn't come into work.

Ahh, I was just pulled into the office the other day because I have been a little slowed down due to a medical situation. They suggested I take a leave of absence or risk losing my job because of poor job performance due to a medical condition. Yeah, they haven't taken into consideration the almost 4 years of my life I have given that company. They want to raise a stink over the last two weeks, which is due to a medical issue. So now I am on a leave of absence. It is ridiculous. They are ridiculous.

I did too! I got fired because they said I could miss a day so I did, then they said I couldn't, and fired me! Ugh! Screw Walmart!

Yes I had a manager fire me for a one time offense of stealing company time. I came back late from a break and was made an "example" of. Yet today I hear people still do it. Go figure!
