What was the best gift you received this Christmas?

I would say that the best gift I received for Christmas 2006 was my son who was given to me way before Christmas (he was born August 2006).

like you, I would say my son was the greatest gift i rec.. He was born Late October but still he was the best ive got...... and my Family who's been there all the time.

Thanks! Christmas cards as signs of thoughtfulness, that you were in their list, and that they remembered you. It's good that you treasure these things because I know others would throw away cards given on Christmas, coz they treat it just like "ordinary paper" :)

I'm a new mom too. I just gave birth to my son last june. He's really a bundle of joy. I can not imagine living my life without him.Last Christmas was really the most wonderful and memorable Christmas I've had in my whole life. My son, he's the most wonderful and the best gift I've received last Christmas of 2006.

Being with family is the best gift, I agree. And us having an additional member to our family and celebrating Christmas with him is the "bestest" gift :) Spending Christmas with family... what more can one ask for, right? :) Thanks for your reply.

I would have to say that the best gift that myself and my husband and our 3 kids got this year was spending Christmas day with my father-in-law. It was nothing different than any other Christmas except for the fact that my father-in-law got sick 3 days after Christmas and he thought it was just the flu. He passed away suddenly on January 1st. They think he had pneumonia. It was just too sudden and a total shock to us all. So we are very grateful that we got to spend Christmas together.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father-in-law's passing. It was a great thing that you were able to enjoy his last few days with him and spend quality time with your loved ones. I'm sure he was a great man.
