I wonder if we could use HTML codes here in MyLot. I have tried to use some HTML codes when I started here, but it didn't work. So wonder if now we can use them. If not, well it'll be a good idea for myLot to enable HTML codes input. It's good if we want to put referral links with only the site name, for bloding the words, underlining words and highliting words and more.

I can see why Mylot probably wouldn't allow HTML. There are too many malicious things that can be done with, say, javascript codes. Of course, they could just allow HTML only and not java. But I'm not sure that they will ever do this. It would definitely be nice to be able to bold our text or add little smiley faces into our messages, though. ^_^

HTML is not allowed because it can destroy the page layout, and it can do other bad things, and you cannot have trust in users

Maybe it's bad, but lots of other sites have that.

I never thought of that, but I do not think that they allow that here on mylot. Maybe they have a reason behind that.

I know for when you're writing a new post you just type the full URL and myLot will convert it to a link. i.e. http://oddsofwinning.blogspot.com without any brackets or code
