how did you know your partner was "The One"?

I met my husband in a chatroom online, and after a while i went to meet him, as soon as i met him i knew he was the one, and from meeting him i moved in straight away and never went back to my old home. (I was only supposed to visit for a couple of days) we have now been married 4 years and have a 2 year old daughter.
A lot of people said moving in with him from the first day we met was a bad idea and that it wouldnt work, but it shows we were right :-)

Well after 10 years of being in each ohter's lives, first hating each other, then becoming friends and a small stint as bed buddies he went off to Austraila for a month. During that time I was really lonely and missed him a ton. We talked on the phone a couple of times a week but that wasn't enough. Apparently he was feeling the same way.
When he got back home we met up and after hugging and syaing hello to each other he looked at me and said, "I guess I have a girlfriend now."
We have been together ever since, 13 years, 9 of those married and we have a beautiful daughter. It is really romantic but being away from each other is what made us realize we wanted to be together.

thanks for sharing your experience with me, I must admit since the day i met my husband, the only two days we have ever been apart is while i was in hospital having our daughter, even then he visited 3 times a day :-)
