Cat with a complex???

I have a beautiful long hair tortise shell cat, and she is awesome. But she would attack anything bigger than she was... She had to be the "Queen" of the house... so we ended up with a 4lb teacup chihuahua. They are now the best of friends and she cleans the dog like it is one of her kittens... too cute :)
Has anyone else had this experiene with their cat?

That is such a sweet story. I didn't know that torties wer long hair either. She may have felt threatend by the larger animal. I don't have that problem, as my two cats get along. The both are non aggressive ones.
