Bad Hair Day

When my hair us unruly I usually pop a hairband in my hair. It is out of my face and a bit more fashionable. I have tried to use haircombs, but they fall out as soon as I put them in. My hair is too short for barrettes and I feel like a kid when I wear them. What do you when you are having a bad hair day?

My hair is too short for a ponytail anymore, and I hate messing around with combs and barrettes, because they never stay in. I'm going to give the hairband a try. On a bad hair day I usually end up trying to "fix" it with product, and end up with a ton of gel, spray, wax, and various other products that don't make it look any better! We've all been there, I guess. Thanks for the hairband tip- I'll have to stop at Target and see what they have.

If I have a bad hair day I stay in bed because I can do nothing with my hair. It's short, it's curly and I hate it. It was long up until a few months ago and then I had it chopped so at the moment I'm realising I made a mistake and trying rapidly to get it to grow back.

Mine is now below my ears, shorter than I have worn it in the past. If I have a bad hair day, there is nothing that I can do with it.

ha ha I pull mine back into a pony tail! :) It is not that often that I have bad hair days. But I think that is because my hair is so long. And if I am having a bad hair day, I either pull it back in a pony tail or wash it. The weight of the water will weight it down and then I can go from there. :)

Hey, that is what I do. I think that a lot of women and girls would have to agree that the best way to deal with it, would just be to pull it back into a pony tail. :)

I have to keep my hair short these days because it is so think and heavy. It is hard on my head. I just put on a hat. I love hats.

There is nothing else you can do with hair as short asmine. Fortunately, such short hair has rare bad days, too. Which is one reason why I keep it short.

I do the same thing you do Elusive. I just toss my hair up into a hairband and get it out of my face. In the winter it gets frizzy so having it in ponytail keeps it from getting staticy.

My hair is too short for a ponytail. The headband thing is getting old now. I have tried bobby pins too, without success.

I'm a male and in my 50's and have to much hair. It just keeps growing. When it gets longer, it is more like a bad hair week. Oh well, I just add a little more molasses and oatmeal. That is, ever since they quit making Vitalis.

Sometimes I've had to re-do my hair two or three times (not often, thankfully *laugh*) when I'm having a bad hair day. But I don't really feel that I would look good in a hat, so I've never tried that, and I don't think that a headband would help with my particular hair and hairstyle. I'm pretty much stuck with doing my hair all over again to try to get it to do something right if it goes really wrong. THat's why I almost alawys try to give myself extra time to do my hair, just in case! *laugh* ^_^

I do the same ShyWolf. There are mornings that no matter what you do, your hair just is unwilling to style in a flattering way. So, I end up settling for good enough.

In my opinion, I'm always having a bad hair day. I cut my hair short a few times and Mark told me not to do it ever again. To be honest with you, I didn't really care for it as well; made my face look fatter. So now I have hair past my shoulders and I can't stand it in my face, so I usually take a bit of the sides and put a small scrunchie in it. Then I put on a patriotic baseball cap. I would really like to have it layered but don't know if Mark'll let me...lol

When my hair is being a pain, I like to pull it back into a bun. If it's being extra frizzy, all I have to do is hairspray it down. I have this hairspray that I swear could be industrial. It's so strong that the wind doesn't even move one hair out of place. If you're ever looking for a good hairspray, try Rave. They sell it at walmart and I buy the highest numbered one (I think it's 5).

Ugh , when I am having a bad hair day , I ususally try to wet it down to fix it and if this doesn't work I either wash it so I can refix it or just walk away from the mirror disgusted with the way my hair looks :)

I also have bad hairdays sometimes... I always make my hair wet and put some wax in it. I sometimes put a hairband in it just like you but a tail is then more easy to make... Goodluck with it!

Hmmm...I hate bad hair days. With a passion. I will usually just pull my hair back into a pony tail, or take a shower. Sometimes the shower doesn't help, so I just let it be. I don't get that many bad hair days(at least that is what I think), so I just deal with it the best that I can for that day!! :D

With long, naturally curly hair... a bad hair day can come in an instant with any moisture in the air! If that happens I usually wet it down and pull it into a ponytail with some mousse or gel to hold the frizz down a bit.

It depends- If I'm at work and my hair starts to bother me. I pull it up in a clip.. Just looks more professional than a pony tail. Plus when its in a clip and I take it down it gets wavy. When I'm at home or not working I usually pull it up into a pony tail. I usually pull it up and down several times a day depending on my mood or what I'm doing- Sometimes my hair tickles my face and neck. If I am doing something where I have to concentrate its always up! Never tried hair combs or hairbands.
