miss your child in boarding school?

hey friends, my son has just joined a boarding school and i miss him like anything. he's been very much an active part of my life, and i have never been away from him in my life except for short holidays when i used to send him to my parents. now it's like wrenching a part of my heart away, it's so......... much not nice, not nice at all. what do you think i should do? shall i bring him back to me? i wish soooooooo much to do so, but i wonder ... am i being very selfish? but then, let me enjoy the good fortune of being a mother, for some more time. when he grows up, anyway, he's going to go away from me for studies, work or after he's married ... what do you think? let me know your opinion... thanks
