mainstream and radical Islam

Islamic fundamentalists are recruiting young people to follow radical Islam. Young men want a cause, and they are attracted to radicalism. This is causing people around the world to fear those who follow Islam, including those who are mainstream. This is a sad turn of events, because I know Islam is not a violent religion. Do you think art and cultural projects are enough to bring understanding to the world? Are mainstream Islamists doomed to suffer for the actions of their violent counterparts?

I honestly don't know how to answer the question I think you have more information then myself. I don't think anyone should suffer for what others do I can say that.

Thank you for your response. I fear all of us will have to suffer the consequences of fundamentalism, no matter what religion they follow.
