Which religion would you allow to lead the prayer? And when should it be allowed, and should all students be made to pray or say the same prayer. The minute you start putting restrictions on religion, you start denying people their rights. suppose 89% of the students were Baptist and 7% were Catholic and 3% were muslim and 1% was wiccan or atheist. Exactly which prayers would be allowed andwhy should the others be made to listen. Would you be willing to jion in a prayer that praises Gaia orwould you feel offended? And once you let prayers into the school, you have to let religious dogma in, and then you have to choose between science and geography, and religion as a basis of the lessons.Religion and prayer be longat home or in the church, not in the classroom

I don't think it should be allowed in public schools. There are so many students with very different backgrounds in theses schools that you cannot cater to each of them, so you do not cater to just a few by praying... its not fair and should not be allowed in PUBLIC schools.
