Hi, I am currently using avira antivir personal classic edition. This can be downloaded free at their official website at www.free-av.com I have been using this software for over a longer period of time. Since using this software, I have never encountered any problems at all with regards to the overall function and system performance of my machine. Otherwise, I am so impressed and satisfied with its performance. It updates on a regular basis and this can be scheduled at your most convenient or spare time. It is very light on resources and does not use a lot of memory. Hence, does not slow down your computer.
Have a nice day and God speed!

I use Norton Antivirus. It's really good at protecting my computer, I just don't like that it's only good for a year. After a year, you are asked to update your subscription, but this costs just as much as getting a new one from the store. This annoys me. Shouldn't I get a deal for already being a customer? I wouldn't mind paying a little more for another year, but why does it have to cost the same as going and buy a new one from the store?
Anyway, Norton is all I've ever used, so I have nothing to compare it to.

I'm still using nod 32 until now and pretty satisfied with the perfomance of this antivirus, many times it allready save my computer from the virus accross the internet and email, but different antivirus have different power and advantage I think, you can't judge which is the best and which is bad, may be nod today is the best, but tommorow I don't think so, imho.

Every Anti-virus has it's pros and cons,Norton has a tight security and doesn't allow viruses if auto-protect is on,but fails to delete viruses if present in some cases..Avast has an integrated boot scan, but it slows down the PC,AVG's Auto-protect sucks!.
try Kaspersky,It's good.
