I am one of the greatest fan of Sachin...myself - but I agree to this also that for a long period of time, Saurav dada had surely over-shadowed the master himself...do u agree One fact that he has third highest runs in ODI's now and after Sachin - he has maximum centuries, as well...

buddy He just got Man of the series for his brilliant hundred of 76 balls and also for 3 fifties... what else form you talkin' of and Recently in Ranji' final also he scored a century... still...???? AGRRED Saurav is in great form and HE was done by Unity of team, which infact he himself had started and thats IRNOY... moreover - Saurav DID over-shadowed Sachin for a quite a period of time and THAT's as in As a opener for India... he always had an upper-hand over Sachin generally...CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Although i have been deep admirer of Saurav Ganguly for his present kick but he has overshadowed Sachin, i am not agree. Sachin has own place in team and due to his ability, he is vice captain. he could not make huge run in 1st ODI but it does not presume that he will not bat in future and anybody can get his place that he has achieved in his life.
