India. Yesterday is the day of Amavasya. It is known as MOUNI AMAVASYA. 20,000,000 people take dip(bath) in Sangam(where river Ganga,Yamuna,Saraswathi join together). Just go back to last century. The day of Amavasya means there will be total darkness and light would be in the form of camphire.See the commitment of the participants in the event. The participants are not only from India but from various classes of people from different countries are attracted to the event. Not only illeterate but also highly qualified people of modern education attend the event. The event cannot be just brushed off as a childish,ignorant paricipation by the people as the most learned people attend and the participation is to an huge number of about twenty millions of people. See the suprise. Instead of the the numbers like 20 million, there is not a single case of riot,ruckups etc. How the people are so disciplined in spite of the multiethnic,multi cultural,multilingual people attending the event.
