How do you treate your your dog when they are sick? Do you avoid them or pay more attention to them? What is your way of treatment?

I give them plenty of TLC. I also give them Reiki. I keep up the treatment till they are better. If for some reason they do not improve, then they will immediately go to the vet. I have been know to give Reiki to an animal all night long. Were they better in the morning? Yes!

When is sick my dog use to come in my arms and sleep there. Then I make him a tea and I give some medicine (if it`s necessary),but ,no way ,i don`t avoid him. It`s like my child.I wouldn`t let my child alone or isolate if he`s sick,do you?

Give them more attention. Take them to the vet. They feel just like we do when we are ill. They want to know someone loves them and is sorry they are feeling bad.

I guess it depends on how sick my dog is. If it is not something necessary for her to go to the vet, then I just baby her. She gets a lot more attention than normal when she looks like she is down in the dumps, although she is definitely not ignored any day, she's spoiled rotten, lol.

if your dog is sick, it is the best way to bring it to see a animal doctor. also, i never avioded my dog when he was sick. in contrast, i would spend more time to take care of him.

If I think my dog is sick I pay more attention to him. I watch for things like is he eating and drinking? I check stool and urine to make sure I don't see anything strange. I watch for vomitting. If I see anything that makes me think it may be the slightest bit serious I call the vet right away. I am lucky that my vet is in an emergeny animal hospital only 4 miles from my home. There is a vet on duty 24 hours a day. Sometimes a dog can just not feel good just like humans. So it's usually very obvious when something is wrong.

If my pet was ill , I would watch him/her . And do a lot of praying that it would not come down to me having to go to the vet . Vet bills are so expensive and if it were to much I would have to put my pet down and this would bother me . I was so upset one time when my cat got hit my a car . I took her to the vet and couldn't stop crying , when the vet took me in to have my pet checked they asked why I was crying so hard and I explained that I was afraid that I would not be able to afford the vet bill if it were to much and the thought of losing my pet and going home and have to explain to my kids was just something I couldn't bear . The vet was such a nice guy . My pet was in critical condition but he fixed her up as good as new . When I asked how much this was going to cost he said not to worry about it that he had noticed my pet had fleas and figured I should get a couple of flea treatments for her and we would be even . I found out later that the operation he preformed on her would have costs thousands of dollars anywhre else . He had told me that when he first got into the buisness it wasn't for the money and he agreed that it did cost a lot to help your pet when something was wrong with them but that you should always take them in to have them checked anyway . Because of this experience I would watch my pet very closely and if need me would take him/her into the vet . I do treat my pet differently if they are sick as they are a part of the family . I keep reffering to my pet as I don't have a dog but would if I had a dog . I have 2 kittens and I believe they are pretty much the same in that you would do the same for any pet you were to have .
