Why are some students very dull?

I think it has to do with the kind of nutrition they were given before birth and during their formative years.This coupled with the non-challant attitude of the parent towards early schooling equally does more harm than good.

I think it depends on the way they study,its not the nutrition which results into making them dull.If the child plays a lot and gives less importance to studies then surely the child would become dull.Working parents dont give more attention to their children which results in making them dull.At some stage the mind of students get diverted to bad things which gives less concentration towards studies.
