Is there such a thing as etiquette of smoking? i hear it mentioned every now and then and wonder just what such etiquette covers. Does it mean a person must ask permission to smoke when in company? You comment about this issue.

I am unfortunately a smoker and there is most definitely an etiquette to follow! Personally I always ask if it is ok to smoke when in company, I never smoke around children, I never smoke in someone else's home unless they light up first and that goes for in their car also. I also try to never smoke in mu own home if I can help it but always outside. I never blow smoke directly at someone either. It is our own personal decision whether or not to smoke but we need to be mindful that a majority of people do not smoke.
