Who should make the first move and talk?

the husband or the wife. Some couples who are having a lover's quarrel can spend days without talking to each other even though they are in the same house together, seeing each others faces everyday, and actually sleeping together in one bed (back to back most of the times ). I know this is not healthy. In your opinion, who do you think should make the first move?

it's not a matter of positions and gender. The husband supposed to be protecting his family, the head of the family. The wife supposed to be supporting her husband, serving him and cares about the family.
When that happends to me, i think i just be the first one that makes the first move. After some times, the anger would reduce, and the tension came at some ease point, and that's the right time to discuss any quarell that happened. If i make mistakes then i'll apologize, if i don't think that i makes any mistakes, still i apologize because i love my wife ...
