Whom are you more closer? Mother or Father?

In most families, being close to either the mother or the father is a common thing. For you, whom do you prefer to be close...To your father or to your mother?

Im close to my MOM. She is the one whom I can share my thoughts and secrets. My father is also dear to me but I can not talk to him about many things I have in my mind. I dont know why its like this.

I am definitely closer to my mother. Dad was emotionally abusive to Mom, my sister and myself.

Mother because she is the one who prepares everything for me and i knew that she will always love me no matter what happen unlike my father he is a sort of bad!

I am pretty close to both my mother and my father. I would have to say that I am closer with my mother because of the fact my father and I didn't start a good close relationship until a couple of years ago. My father didn't even walk me down the isle when I got married. As a matter of fact, he didn't even show up to my wedding!
