how can i earn on my photos in mylot?how can i down load it/are the restrictions

my friend who introduced me to mylot told me that i can earn by submitting photos to mylot...but he forgot to tell me how can i earn and what to do...im not a computer wiz...so i really dont know how to start on it...its only my 2nd month at mylot...and are there restriction as to what pictures to down load...pls help.thanks...peace.
