Save those aluminum cans. Each cans worth about 2 to 3 cents each. Another words, for about every 24 cans is worth about 50 cents to you. Aluminum cans would pay you 1.26 pound if you were in the big city going to the main plant. But, your local recycler will pay you 50 cents less. So for every pound of aluminum cans will pay you 76 cents a pound. People throw there cola and beer cans out the window all the time. Especially on weekends and first of the month. I use to think save cans, go out let people see me pick up cans ? no way !! hey, when cans started paying 50 cents a pound on the local level, I started doing the math and put it to the test. Now, I get paid to exercise. Walking, crushing the cans, bending over picking up the cans. Matter of fact, I even lost weight, ( 3 belt loops ). Now I save and pick up cans for the exercise of it and plus the extra $50.00 a month is free money for me to blow.
