it was fun yet hard to be a Barista. I was onced did the Barista thing. After the tough questions I answered during the four sets of interviews. I finally get hired as Barista. I was trained for three days from World of Coffee uo to the World of Tea. Then started to serve coffee to the guest, we treated customer as a guest, so that they will feel comfortable everytimethey visit the store. The exciting moment is the certification. You have to go through this to complete the training by hands on where youre now starting to familiarize the different kind of machines. From ice blended coffee, the espresso and brew and finally the point of sales. Exercising the customer service, meet lot of people, friends while being part of a coffee world.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I was almost going to put up a similar discussion but then I saw yours. :) I have a contract signing scheduled in a little over 4 hours and I'm not yet sure if I'd take it. I'd share my experiences here maybe, but I'm going to be from another coffee shop if ever. :)

Barista is the one who makes coffee in a coffee shop, this is how we call it here in the Philippines. Sounds like Spanish but, its a name/term use for coffee server. And I am proud that I learned alot from coffee to tea. :)Hope you know the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. :)
