During childhood days did you collect the money from father and mother for the same purpose. I did it to spend the money on eatables, but was caught. Did you?

Ya, I do! Actually this topic brings me back my old memories! There were many instances during which I had got money, both from my father and Mother. Some instances are, petrol money, lunch expenses, etc. I had never been caught while doing this. I guess it would have been thrilled, if I had been caught!

Double collection for single cause....I am not sure I ever did this during my childhood. For 2 reasons 1) I never thought of this 2) My family economy is single handed (My father earns and My mother manages the money).

It was just for fun. My father was busy with his business. My mother used to have some cash always. Out of affection she would give money for a purpose and I would collect it from father for the same purpose. Of course I knew it is bad. When they were happy, I used to tell them the truth. Good you did not do that. Also it is good that economic control was in single hand.Thanks for interesting response.

My Father was in the Air Force, so my Mother gave me Pocket money, but I had a small job as well.

Then there is no problem at that time. In India, high school students are not provided with jobs - no earn while learn scheme. When they are hard put for money, they do some tricks.

You mean getting money from parents without their knowledge? Well, I am afraid to do it since I know I'll get punish for doing so. But I do asked them when I needed it.

Not really stealing. Mother is close to you. Make an application for money to pay off something in the school. Similar request with father. Double collection I mean for single purpose.

my brother always do the same , for same purpose they have taken money form mom and papa . but from my childhood i was always an honest nature . if i need a money i just asked to papa .

I just put this topic thinking that this might happen in many families. I am glad you explained incidents happened in your family. It is not totally wrong in the sense in childhood days one or two times I too have done. But then I have told them I have done it and said I shall not repeat it. Man has to go through good and bad and ultimately good triumphs. Thanks for participating in the discussion.
