dove or pears?

i have been using Pears soap for years - for face and body. nowadays i see a lot of advt. that Dove soap is good. what do you feel? have you tried them? is Dove better than Pears for face and body? is it a beauty soap as they call it? some say Pears tends to dry the skin and darken it, whereas Dove moisturises it. but , you know, i feel real clean when i use Pears, maybe because am used to it, but when i tried Dove a couple of times, i don't feel that completely rinsed, i feel there's more of soap left on my skin ... do tell me about YOUR experience and which one is good. thanks
