I know that it won't be easy to find a fiend who'll stand by you for one year, let alone a thousand years. But, you can always find somebody as your friend without even being dependent on him/her. Just depend on yourself with or without a friend beside you.

If you were referring to a co-dependent relationship, I agree with your notion. However, we are created to be dependent. The issue is whom we depend on. The Proverb says, "Two are better than one", yet we know people are too full of weaknesses to be a strong enough hold. That is why I believe in any relationship there has to be a triangle hold, God, me and other people. With that it is not impossible to have a friend who will stand by us for a thousand years...=)

Just his afternoon we talk about this with my best friend.We are friends since we went to school.25 years friendship,we was together at happy and sad moments,we support each others....she trust me and speak with me more than her brothers or sisters (she has other 10 brothers and sisters they are 11 children).I have another friend for 20 years and also we are very close.I feel very lucky about this point because i know how difficult is to find real friends.The only problem is this two can't stay at same room together ,they doesn't like each other....bu I learn handle the situation so I don't lost anyone of them.The friendship for me is of the bigger treasures of life.

I'm smiling widely here... It must be not easy for you to keep maintaining this friendship situation. Has it been about 20 years that you keep it that way? What an uneasy teenage years! How did they come up as opposite in the first place? Maybe in time you'll be the bridge upon which they'll be reconciled.

At first i try find way for they like each other but the only thing i got was trouble.....so after few years trying for nothing I decided keep them apart but both of them close to me.They except the situation with relief .....I was the problem after all because i try keep them together ,not any more so all are happy.
