I am glad to note that Paypal is opening its branch in India. It is very apt, because millions of Indians are earning in various websites and this helps the country to earn foreign exchange, once the paypal office opens in India.

yeah it is correct that they are opening a branch in india. But it is still not clear whether they would offer electronic fund transfer to indian banks or not.

Its a long time now since this article came. Has the intentions been actually implemented and if so do we expect any improvement in the system, i mean a lower leadtime for getting payment from paypal.

Thanks for this information. I feel it is great news for all indians including me that paypal is coming to india and setting up center in Chennai. I think it will facilitate online transactions using paypal as we could cash out in our own currency and have faster and better online transactions.

Thats a great move by paypal. I hope they provide to their India users all the facility theya re providing to their US users. Why should there be any discrimination?

This is indeed a goodnews to all our friend in india. They can now cash their money from mylot with hasels. I guess mylot took paypal to india. hahaha.

Its a good news but whats the use if it doesnt accepts to purchase of internet goods by indians.Hope it will be changing its policy.By the way why r u standing in the sun ,go into the shade and cover the body toooo.LOL.

I also interested in Paypal because I want to do business through the internet. Paypal has also in China, but it's not the same with the real Paypal. Does it the same Paypal in India as in USA?
