i just broke up with my boyfriend today...no actually he broke up with me. we cursed me all day and heard nothing but bad words and nasty stuff. it was weird because it started that i'm the one mad at him and then all of a sudden he popped out like popcorn one by one... one bad word after the other.

myjewel, I can tell you from experience that usually when a person gets real nasty after you tell him you're upset with him, it's because he knows you're right and doesn't want to hear it, so he lashes out and turns the tables on you. First of all, he'll probably call you when he calms down and try to get you back. I highly recommend that you tell him to get lost. You don't deserve to be put down that way. It's a sign of disrespect and he will do it again if you go back to him.

It might be his defense mechanism so that the spotlight's not all on him. It could also be projection of his guilt. Either way, If he's done that to you and that;s just the way it is,don't get back with him if he asks you to. You deserve someone better.

If situations arise to where either one has to yell at the other. Stay out of the relationship. You always need your mental well being. No one needs to be yelled at by anyone else.
