Yes they were..Many bible scholars and theologians have proven that Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are very much accurate.There were also writtings like gospel of judas have doubtedly part of the bible, but the canonicity of the bible was finish early as 2nd century..But this gospel was produce estimately, as i viewed this to national Geographic, as around 300 to 400 a.d.
