Y'know what...im gonna do it toooo!
Why do we all tend to do things just because everyone else is doing them?
If you knew that what was happening mainstream was wrong, do you and would you have the guts to stand up for doing the right thing?
Have you stood up to help make a right, and a positive change in your community?
If so.. how?

I have not done things just because everybody else does, but then people consider me a little bit strange anyway. I quit my last job because they were treating certain staff better than others. And years ago, I was the first girl in my area to not quit just because I was pregnant. I wanted that diploma!

Only thing I ever did that others did, that I knew that was wrong was lying, and swearing... and I hate doing both, but my family pressures so much for me to lie for them constantly, then get mad when I refuse to... and I feel like its the same pressure that leads to my swearing, or my swearing at times comes out of naturally mirroring what others say... So the person I am talking to feels comfortable with me...... As far as treating certain staff better than others. I can see how that would be upsetting leading to quitting... I hope you eventually got your diploma. - DNatureofDTrain

Oh, I can definately see how that could strain a family.. I am glad it worked out for everyone in the end... I think what happens is a person falls in love with two and is so terrified they do not want to lose either of the ones they love, that they resort to the double life, or hidden life. Which has to be a real strain on him fearing at any moment he could lose both families...
I am glad in your families and families case it worked out for you all...
