Growing Herbs

There can be little doubt. You are over-watering. Check out where a plant originates from. Lots of herbs are mediteranian in origin. Thyme and Oregano are east to grow, you really can abuse them. It does them no harm to have full sun and let them dry out before giving a small amount of water before dark. Do not water during heat of the day. Try again, it is worth it.

I had a tendency to over water mine. I only water once a week and just enough to make the soil moist not wet.
