Your husband helps when you are cleaning the house?

My husband works 44 hours a week as a labourer. He has a 3 hour travel time to get back and forth to work. So I don't even expect him to help me with the house work. He will do something if I ask him but I don't like to because he is so tired. He also ties fishing flies to unwind and that makes us about 4000 dollars in extra cash every year. He grocery shops with me every single week and brings in the groceries and won't let me carry a thing. I am very proud of my husband and he is an excellent provider. I was sick in hospital last March for 3 weeks. He went to work every day and still came and saw me for a hour every night.

Yup, he helps me with our household chores. And he's also a hands-on dad. I also let him know how i appreciate it :)

sometimes... consider that he works 700 km far from me, and he come back home just for the week end... he helps me in washing dishes, irons, following the daughers...i can say i'm satisfied!

Yeh my husband helps. I have to ask most of the time but he'll do it.

I think the housband and the wife should work together in house. I always help my girlfriend doing the cleaning and other things in the house because i like spending the time with her and i take all the minutes i can.

You know what's weird? Before we got married he would do things for me all the time and then when we got married I would have to ask for help but now we have been married for over 2 years and he just sits there like a lump on a log. Don't get me wrong there is sometimes when he does help out a little bit and then I get shocked and joke with him and ask him what he wants. He just gives me that look like "you know what I want" So it's like they treat us really good before we get married to make sure they have us hooked then when we do get married they start slacking off a little because they already have us. Then after a couple of years goes by it's like the only time you can get them to do anything for you is when you ask a whole bunch of times or when they want something.
