Does any type of heavy weight lifting stunt teenagers growth?

Example- squat or bench press (heavy weights) ??

My view is heavy weight lifting does induces your muscles but the groth harmones are inhibted and your height affects due to it if started at younger age as building muscles take precedence over your heiht. I advice all young buds to start weight lifting once you have gained enough heights. Or else you wiil grow your muscles but height affected

The only thing that will will make growth(if you are still growing that is) Less, is if you do weight lifting, this makes you stunt your growth and can happen to anyone that is still growing, But this is only from what i've heard i've never actualy tested it and never will be able to anymore:P
