I like to know what are your reasons for not helping someone who requires help, when you have done your Senior First Aid! I have found out that alot of people have done their Senior First Aid but too scared to help the victim because of the Public Liability? What has it got to do with other than do your best in helping that person live till the Ambualnce Officers arrives! Today society has become very selfish when it comes to first aids, and helping many people who are in need of urgent help. Give me your opinion on what we can do to make it easier on everyone!

I am planning on getting my first aid certificate for work. Its a little more work, but there is a dollar an hour pay rise just for having it. Its also a skill I would like to have in real life. As far as people being scared of Liability, I think that its horrid. This world has become far to petty with law suits. Its a shame, people can get in trouble for trying to help.

I've done my Senior First Aid and thankfully, haven't had to use it yet! It's one of those things (like insurance) that you have but you hope to never need...I like to think that nothing would stop me helping someone if the need arose. That was the reason I went and did the training in the first place so if I was too worried to use it then doing the course would have been a complete waste of time.
