First Aid kits are not expensive but a very handy tool to have in your vehicle. Do you have one in yours? You dont need to be qualified to use one, but it certainly pays to learn first aid as well. How many times have you had an accident that you wished you had one in the vehicle? Since I bought mine 10 years ago, it has become a very useful tool for many injuries. But remember to check the expiry dates on the creams etc as they do not last forever. First Aid kits comes in different sizes to suit your needs, and with our vehicle going off road in remote areas we take almost everything we can as you just never know what can happen or what you might come across. Please tell us what you think about this!

First aid kits should be in every car and also in every home. The basic survival kit with food supplies and emergency supplies should be too. First aid wont keep you from starving but those kits will. They are all on the list for us all to have. Great post!

I agree with you but with the amount of people that are travelling, they do not have one in their car! I was shocked as on a holiday recently our first aid kit was well used!

I have my own little made up kit (half from a standard kit but I needed it in a different shaped container) that I've added heaps to so now it doubles as a survival kit as well! lol Sunscreen, flyspray, calamine etc etc and I also keep a first aid book in the car. I've done my first aid training but a lot of people haven't so you never know, it may come in handy in a situation where there isn't anyone who knows what to do - they can look it up! =)
